As reported in a previous post, there are an abundance of campaign signs in Minneapolis' Prospect Park area that will not come down. I took note today as I was passing through that the number of signs has now actually started to decrease, but only because one homeowner took down a Kerry/Edwards sign that had been standing next to a Wellstone sign since last September or so. The Kerry/Edwards sign came down but the Wellstone sign remains right where it has been since the summer of 2002. I wonder if the homeowner just forgot that one when he went to get the Kerry/Edwards sign? I doubt it. I am going to start taking some pictures of the hand-made signs that decorate the neighborhood and posting them here as a public service - and as comedic relief. Look for those right here at KAR over the next few weeks.
