Rush to Judgment

Leave it to the pointy headed pricks at the Star & Sickle to pile on with the likes of Howard Dean, Jesse Jackson, the freak Rap “Star” and the rest of the jerk-offs who don’t have a f-ing clue what the hell they’re talking about.

These are, of course, the same ass-wipes who deplore the ever-famous “rush to judgment”. Yet, when they have an opportunity to attempt to crush a president they personally hate, the think nothing of doing just that.

Were there missteps at the federal level? Yes.

Are the Governor of Louisiana and Mayor of New Orleans completely without blame? Not a Goddamn chance.

When this story unfolds, we are going to see just how horribly state and local governments failed their constituents, beginning with their failure to strengthen the levees when the had the chance to. Want proof? Try this and this.

Read about the hundreds of millions of dollars that were mishandled, misspent or just plain missed out on because of the piece of crap Levee Board and state bonding authority.

Want more, how about this from yesterday’s Washington Times. Here is the salient passage (emphasis mine) for those who want the abridged version:

New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin told CNN's "American Morning" Monday that he met with Mr. Bush and Mrs. Blanco on Air Force One on Friday and implored the two to "get in sync."

"If you don't get in sync, more people are going to die," Mr. Nagin said.

Mr. Bush met privately first with Mrs. Blanco, then called Mr. Nagin in for a meeting.

"He called me in that office," Mr. Nagin said. "And he said, 'Mr. Mayor, I offered two options to the governor.' I was ready to move. The governor said she needed 24 hours to make a decision."

That decision was a request by Mr. Bush to allow the federal government to take over the evacuation of New Orleans, which had been marked by chaos for days. The Democratic governor, who has clashed behind the scenes with the Bush administration since the storm hit, refused.

For the love of Pete.

The President of the United States offers the resources of the federal government and this *&%$)%&$$%%$$ moron asks for 24 hours to decide?

This broad should have her ass dragged out of office without benefit of vote. What a stupid, stupid woman.

Ya see, what the pointy-headed pricks at the S&S do not understand is that there is such a thing as states rights in this country. A president cannot simply waltz into a state and take over.

If W had done that, I suspect the same pointy-headed pricks would have gone after him, rightly, for usurpation of the Governor’s authority.

It’s getting to the point where I can’t even read the crap any longer, but feel I must because one needs to keep the eye on the enemy.

And this band of pigs is truly the enemy.
