Who said crime doesn’t pay?

Talk about your sweetheart plea bargains. Heather Tallchief admits to stealing $2.9 million and fleeing the country and, according to her attorney, is expected to be sentenced to no more than 10 years for a crime that calls for up to 40.

But wait, there’s more. Our little friend has agreed to pay back the money (with the crime happening 10 years ago, I hope there’s some interest involved)…with money she earns from book or movie deals.

That’s right; Heather The Pilferer is going to end up on easy street for ripping off almost $3 million dollars.

You know damn well there will be publishers and producers clamoring for the rights to tell this story and she’ll end up with a publicist and manager who will parlay this into a huge money maker for her.

What a f&%#ing crock, when criminals can profit from harming others.

I hope Nevada wakes up and passes a law banning this kinda crap.
