NOTE: This is the first installment of a new KAR feature highlighting some of Dementee's favorite barbecue recipes.

GRILLED MOONBAT - WISCONSIN STYLE

Ingredients:

1 Moonbat*
3 or 4 12 oz. cans of beer
1 large white or yellow onion
1 or 2 tbsp of freshly ground pepper
Hardrolls

POUR BEER INTO LARGE POT!!!!!! SLICE UP ONION INTO QUARTER-INCH STRIPS AND ALSO PUT IN POT!!!!!!!! PUT PEPPER IN POT!!!!! PUT MOONBAT IN POT!!!!!!! LET MOONBAT SOAK IN BEER ONION MIXTURE FOR HOUR OR SO!!!!!!!!! BRING BEER TO ROLLING BOIL!!!!!! LET BOIL FOR ABOUT 1 MINUTE, THEN TURN HEAT OFF!!!!!!! REMOVE FROM HEAT AND LET SIT UNTIL GRILL READY!!!!!!!! THEN TRANSFER MOONBAT TO MEDIUM-HEAT GRILL DIRECTLY OVER COALS (HINT: IF YOU NOT WANT TO LOSE SOME FAT - OR DEAL WITH ANNOYING FLARE-UP THAT MAY RESULT - OR YOU NOT LIKE SKIN TOO CRISPY, THEN SET GRILL UP FOR INDIRECT HEAT)!!!!!!! TURN MOONBAT FREQUENTLY USING FINGERS OR TONGS!!!!!! NEVER, EVER USE FORK!!!!! PEOPLE WHO USE FORK ON GRILL MEAT MAKE DEMENTEE VERY ANGRY!!!!!! IF YOU USE FORK, DEMENTEE MIGHT TRACK YOU DOWN AND EEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAT YOU!!!!!!

SORRY 'BOUT THAT!!!!!!

HERE GOOD PLACE TO MENTION THAT IF YOU GRILLING USING INDIRECT HEAT, IT OK TO COVER GRILL!!!!!!! THIS WILL SHORTEN COOKING TIME!!!!!!!

GRILL MOONBAT FOR ABOUT 15 to 20 MINUTE (SLIGHTLY LONGER FOR INDIRECT METHOD)!!!!!!! SERVE ON HARDROLLS WITH KETCHUP, BROWN MUSTARD AND SAUERKRAUT (IF THAT YOUR THING - KRAUT GIVE DEMENTEE GAS)!!!!!!!!!

* EDITOR'S NOTE: If you are unable to find a moonbat, fresh uncooked bratwurst is a perfectly acceptable substitute for this recipe.
