Moron Mail Moron Mail

In honor of the Twins' first game of the playoffs, the first pitch having just been thrown (hello? anybody out there? anyone reading this?), I present to you a very special Twin Moron Mails:

Defending her old boss

After the fourth paragraph of her chain-saw slashing of the DFL candidate for governor, Katherine Kersten finally gets around to revealing that she served on the Republican incumbent's transition team. It would have been more straightforward to say at the beginning, "Please ignore -- I'm biased."

A Pawlenty attack ad

Can someone please explain to me why the Tim Pawlenty-attack ad masquerading as a Katherine Kersten column was not considered a political advertisement? A former Pawlenty employee attacking Hatch. If it wasn't so pathetic, it would be laughable!

Oh, I whole-heartedly agree. The stable of Strib metro columnists ought to put aside their partisan biases and file stories that don't engage in cheap political hackjobbery.
