We are now 24 hours removed from John Hinderaker's arrogant and aggressive slight of KAR. I wish I had happier news, but the situation is deteriorating. Last night, a faithful citizen of KAR Nation posted comments on Power Line's forum, only to have those comments deleted by the site administrator within minutes.
So it's not bad enough that Hinderaker refuses to give props where due.
It's not bad enough that he excised my bit from "his" "podcast."
Now he is silencing dissent!
THIS CANNOT STAND!!!
I have restored the NAAPALM (Northern Alliance Against Power-Arrogant-Line Madness) blogroll on the sidebar, and am working on a new logo. In addition to this, all KARnies and Citizens of KAR Nation can do the following Nonstop Creative Actions to stand against inflated Power Line hubris:
* Join NAAPALM. It's quick, easy and free! If you think that Power Line's elitist attitude and obsession with soccer is too much to bear apply to be put on the NAAPALM blogroll. Leave a comment - in haiku - explaining why you want to join. I'll put you on the NAAPALM blogroll thus allowing our 300 visitors (27 unique) to see that you have had enough and you won't take it any more. Plus you'll get a small bump in your TTLB ranking. No moonbats please.
* Run up to Mitch Berg and tell him "John Hinderaker says that North Dakotans are pussies when it comes to cold weather!" Run away. Listen to the hilarity ensue as Mitch spends 2 hours on the next NARN (with John Hinderaker) show ripping Hinderaker's purported foolishness.
* Leave a comment on the appropriate node at the Town Hall podcast page (dated Feb. 26, 2007; titled "Northern Alliance with John Hinderaker 1" - this link should put it at the top of the page) - which saw fit to retain my bit - berating Hinderaker for being such a wiener for omitting it on his. Or, praise Townhall for it's solid judgment. You may be required to register. Let's see him try to delete those comments!
* If your large, multinational corporation is expecting commercial or antitrust litigation, consider hiring your attorneys from a firm other than Faegre & Benson.
These are just a few small things you can do to make a difference! Fight the Power Line!
