Upon further review, I think the use of "bacon" as a slangy synonym for "tubular" should be in a similar format as "da' bomb". For example:
This bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich is da' bomb!
Bacon in a similar context:
LearnedFoot's and Bill's Tongue o' Fire is da' bacon!
